Assistant Divisional Fire Officer Habib Camara from The Gambia’s Fire Service has successfully completed an intensive 2-week training program on Cross-Border Emergency Medical Rescue for Belt and Road Countries. The training, held from October 31st to November 13th in Beijing, People’s Republic of China, was sponsored by the Ministry of Commerce and organized by the International Exchange and Cooperation Centre, Ministry of Emergency Management.

This prestigious training opportunity has equipped Officer Camara with valuable skills and knowledge to enhance emergency response capabilities in The Gambia, fostering improved cooperation and expertise in emergency management. The experience gained will undoubtedly contribute to strengthening The Gambia’s emergency services and promoting regional collaboration.
